MCSI is run by MaNiFy Creative. This page describes every category of personal information the institute holds, what it is used for, and who else touches it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
When you apply: your name, the name you want printed on your certificate, your email address, and — if you choose to give them — your phone number, country, which DAW you use, how long you have been producing, and why you want to join.
When you study: the work you hand in each week. For most weeks that is an audio file or a session export, plus any note you attach to it. Your marks, written feedback and attendance are stored against your enrolment.
When you pay: your name, email and the amount. Card and bank details are entered on Flutterwave’s own payment page and are never sent to, or stored by, MCSI.
Run the programme: admit you, unlock your weeks, mark your work, issue your certificate, and email you about your own cohort. We also use aggregate counts — how many graduated, average marks — to describe the programme publicly. Those figures never identify anyone.
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not email you about anything other than MCSI.
Supabase hosts the database, the sign-in system and the file storage that holds your submissions. Flutterwave processes payments. Cloudflare serves the lesson videos. Resend delivers transactional email. Vercel hosts the site. Each of them sees only what it needs to do that job.
The music you hand in stays yours. MCSI stores it to mark it and to let you and your facilitator refer back to it. It is visible to you and to MCSI teaching staff — not to other students, and not to the public. We will never release, publish or distribute your work without asking you first, in writing, for that specific piece.
Enrolment records, marks and certificates are kept permanently: a certificate has to remain verifiable years after it was earned, and the verification page depends on that record existing.
Submitted audio files are kept for twelve months after your cohort ends, then deleted. Applications that are never paid for are deleted after twelve months.
A copy of everything we hold on you; a correction to anything that is wrong — including the spelling of your name on your certificate, which we will reissue at no cost; or deletion of your account and your submitted files.
If you ask us to delete everything, the certificate record is the one thing we keep, reduced to the certificate number, the name printed on it and the date — otherwise the certificate silently stops verifying and becomes worthless to you.
Write to admissions@mcsiedu.com. We answer within seven days.
The site sets one cookie, and only after you sign in: the session that keeps you signed in. There is no advertising tracking, no analytics profile and no third-party pixel, which is why there is no consent banner in your way.
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who processes it, students on an active cohort are emailed directly. The date at the top always reflects the current version.
