Terms of enrolment

One seat on one cohort of the ten-week programme. That includes the ten weekly lessons, the live sessions scheduled for your cohort, written feedback on every piece of work you hand in, and — if you meet the standard below — a Certificate of Completion carrying a serial that anyone can verify on this site.

The fee is charged once. There are no instalments, no renewal, and nothing further to pay during the ten weeks.

A week is passed at a mark of 60 or above. To be certified you must pass every week that requires a submission, and attend the live Q & A in week four.

A certificate is earned, not bought. If you do not meet the standard, the fee is not refunded and the certificate is not issued — but your facilitator will tell you exactly which weeks fell short, and you may rejoin a later cohort at the returning-student rate.

Weeks unlock in order and work is expected within the week it belongs to. Life happens: if you are going to miss a deadline, say so before it passes and an extension is normally given. Silence for two consecutive weeks is treated as withdrawal.

A seat is refundable in full within seven days of payment, for any reason. Write to admissions@mcsiedu.com and the payment is reversed to its original method within ten working days.

After seven days the fee is not refundable. A cohort runs to a fixed size and a seat that is vacated mid-programme cannot be resold. If MCSI cancels or postpones a cohort, every affected student is refunded in full or moved to the next cohort — your choice.

Everything you make stays yours. MCSI claims no ownership, no royalty and no publishing interest in any record you produce on the programme, during or after it.

The lessons, session files, templates and written material belong to MCSI and are licensed to you personally for the duration of your enrolment. Do not re-upload, resell or share them. Sharing your account so someone else can take the programme ends the enrolment without a refund.

Cohorts are small and everyone hears everyone else’s work. Critique the record, not the person. Harassment of another student or of staff ends the enrolment immediately and without refund.

Each certificate carries a number and a serial and is verifiable on this site for as long as MCSI operates. MCSI may revoke a certificate if it was obtained through work that was not yours; revoked certificates fail verification and the holder is told why.

If your name is misspelled, tell us and it is reissued at no cost.

MCSI teaches music production. It does not promise placements, streams, revenue or a career outcome, and nothing on this site should be read as such a promise. Where liability cannot be excluded by law, it is limited to the fee you paid.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Before anything formal, write to us — nearly everything is solved by an email.
